A wave of new trends that promise to make our lives a little brighter, a bit more stylish, and a whole lot more fun is here this summer is here! Whether you’re a trendsetter or prefer timeless classics, it’s always good to know what’s in Vogue?. But, with so many trends popping up, it can be tough to decide which ones are worth your money. That’s where I come in to try it, style it, and give my opinion! Let’s dive into the hottest summer trends in 2024 and determine if they’re worth adding to your cart this season.
A SPLASH OF COLOR
This summer, it’s all about making a statement with bold and bright colors. The colors that I am seeing more and more of this season are lilac, chambray blue, and lemon drop yellow! This trend is easy to add to your closet, no matter how much or little you want to. If you don’t gravitate towards color, but you want to try a little, adding a pop of color to your accessories is a great way to do it. And because the colors are softer in hue- they pair great with your neutral colors like tan, navy, or even white!
Matching Sets
You read that right! Matching sets are a summer trend for 2024! When it comes to a set, there are so many great ways to wear it. You can obviously wear it together, but you also get several other outfit options when you pair it with things you may already have. With the kids being out of school for the summer, it is so nice to be able to throw a set on knowing it matches, and I am more dressed up than my usual t-shirt and shorts. There are SO many beautiful and colorful fun sets to shop from!
Sheer
Now’s the perfect time if you haven’t already added a few sheer pieces to your wardrobe. I know sheer can be a bit daunting but there are so many wayt to incorporate! If this is a trend you want to try, Sheer skirts, dresses, and tops are perfect for layering over bralettes, swimsuits, or you can even try sheer flats! This trend is all about striking that balance between daring and elegant. P.S. If you’re looking for sheer coverups- I found some under $50 here!
Fringe
Fringe is making a comeback, and it’s all about movement, texture, and a bit of boho flair. From fringed jackets and skirts to bags and boots, you have probably seen it everywhere. While this may be my least favorite trend, it is a great way to that extra “oomph” to your look. If you love a boho look- then this is a trend that will be right up your alley!
